ISSUE VI NOVEMBER 2003

"For I say unto you, there is no man in the habitable world, neither spirits of darkness infesting the air able to show forth the intelligence of God; neither is the Wicked One, by cunning deceptions, able to contend with the wisdom of God in these things."

THE WORD OF THE LORD

Regarding the LDS People in Their Present Situation

"And unto thee, thou greatly favored, unto thee, I the Lord, at this time, have a word of warning and a word of sharp rebuke. The ear of the Almighty hath heard your slandering, and your back-biting, and your lying; and they are of that blackness which cometh from the depths of hell; yea, they are of the spirit of that Wicked One, who maketh war upon me; and who hath gendered strife, and bitterness, and hatred, in the hearts of my people from the first; for which cause, Zion was lost unto them. Take heed, therefore, for I will rebuke my people suddenly with the shaft of death. I will make bare mine arm in the midst of them, and they shall know that I am God." "And now, even now, will I make them to understand, that of old it was truly said, a prophet is not without honor save in his own country, and in his own city, and with his own people.

"From whence came the stones that killed the prophets? Were they from the highways of the Gentiles, or yet from the gates of Jerusalem? Were they not the gall stones of the bitterness of Israel? And Israel's stony heart, which their sins had petrified; and were they not gathered out from the Dead Sea of a spiritual kingdom? Behold, now, from the putrid waters I still smell a detestable odor; and who that hath scented the shores of the two seas, can distinguish?

"Will you cast me out, saith the Lord; and will you abandon me as a thing to be hated? Hear now the Lord speak: With a man will I rebuke a great nation, and with my rod will I punish a holy people.

"For a rod, indeed, have I brought forth out of the stem of Jesse. Yea, like unto a sword with two sharp edges have I brought it forth, saith the lord. Can you remember when I would not punish Israel? I will search out the back-biter, and the slanderer will I hunt down in the midst of you, and I will hate you who have hated me, and cast you out who have cast me out, except you repent, saith the Lord.

"Behold, ye know that my coming is at the door and ye look for a prophet. Verily, I say unto you, at the door of the tabernacle of Zion have I laid a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense. Will you bring into her gates the blindness that fell upon Judah? You have brought an evil report. One has lied against me, and a whole company have believed the lie. You have been tale-bearers against me. Yea, from a distance, and from afar off, you have borne a false witness against me.

"From the north you have lied, and out of the earth you have lied; even out of the very ground, you have lied against me, saith the Lord. Lo, these many years you have lied.

"Yet, I would not speak. I did not answer. I would not suffer my silence to be broken; that my people might fill up their cup to the full; that I might deal with them, saith the Lord; and that after that, I might once again renew unto them the word of the Lord, and bless them, saith the Lord of Hosts." (From First Message of the Word of the Lord which was received in 1916)

"For the things which some men esteem to be of great worth, both to the body and soul, others set at naught and trample under their feet. Yea, even the very God of Israel do men trample under their feet; I say, trample under their feet but I would speak in other words - they set him at naught, and hearken not to the voice of his counsels." (1 Nephi, 19:7)

It is only through the Lord, Jesus Christ that any man can be saved. There is no appointed man on earth to pass by or through, to follow, or to seek consent to gain one’s salvation. The Lord seeks to constantly renew His word through revelation when men are willing to receive it. The Lord has never, in any scripture, commanded his people to follow any earthly man to gain their salvation; the Lord has never used his prophets for any other purpose but to turn the hearts of the people towards following their only true Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. "...the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there; and there is none other way save it be by the gate..." (2 Nephi, 9:41)

True prophets teach that the gospel is not a work of confusion but clearly understood, and that men only remain in confusion when they willingly choose to reject truth. True prophets will teach that you must follow the whisperings of the Holy spirit and reject the false teachings of men that have no foundation in sound logic. True prophets teach that there are no great mysteries for those that sincerely seek for wisdom and truth, and that clarity of thought unencumbered by false teachings of men is necessary in understanding the works of the Lord, and that the words of God are simple and can be understood by all.

True prophets bear a strong message of sharp rebuke to spur all people to repent and seek to find the Savior through prayer, and do not seek to turn the hearts of men to follow weak mortal religious leaders as a step to take before following God. True prophets do not ask people to accept on blind faith the precepts based on the faulty reasoning of men. True prophets declare the word of God ,and have faith that those who earnestly and sincerely seek the word of God will have it confirmed in them by the Holy Spirit. True prophets teach that men must think for themselves and be independent of blindly following religious leaders to gain their own testimony.

True prophets have never been concerned to seek after popularity of the world, nor perform works designed to make them popular among men, for they seek to follow the will of God only. True prophets would never use resources gathered from their people to build up expensive buildings for the frivolous use of men, when the resources could be better spent to help the poor. A true prophet would never seek to prevent others from obtaining the word or words of the Lord, nor would he allow himself to be set up in eminence above righteous people seeking to work out their personal salvation with their one true Savior, Jesus Christ. True prophets do not boast of their own works, nor do they find the time to flatter the people in the face of the great evil that has always threatened to completely overtake mankind. True prophets have always exercised most of their energies and strength to warn people of the overwhelming power of evil that has taken hold in the hearts of men throughout history, and do not flatter the people that they have achieved righteous conditions when it is clear they have not. True prophets have recognized the tremendous powers and threats of evil that continually threaten to overpower and destroy those that are righteous as well as their works.

At no point is it ever taught in the scriptures that heavenly power automatically comes with authority of office in the church. At no point according to the Word of the Lord in the scriptures are Latter-day Saints ever assured they will have a prophet in authority to lead them in righteousness. It is the individual duty of every man to gain a testimony of the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for himself, not to gain his own testimony through the weak testimonies and teachings of others. True prophets have always taught that it takes more than following a weak arm of flesh, but instead warn of the tremendous evil and to preach repentance and turn the people’s hearts back to God. The Lord has designated realms of authority; for example, a man might receive revelation for his family, or the leaders of the LDS Church may be directed how to run the individual church in which they hold leadership positions, but no man has ever been appointed exclusive authority to receive revelation for all of the lands and peoples of the world in general.

"I am he who said—Other sheep have I which are not of this fold—unto my disciples, and many there were that understood me not. And I will show unto this people that I had other sheep, and that they were a branch of the house of Jacob(American Indian People); And I will bring to light their marvelous works, which they did in my name; Yea, and I will also bring to light my gospel which was ministered unto them, and, behold, they shall not deny that which you have received, but they shall build it up, and shall bring to light the true points of my doctrine, yea, and the only doctrine which is in me." (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 10:59 - 62)

Mormons believe the Lord established His word and Church among the Jews while He lived with a mortal body on earth during the times of the New Testament. Mormons believe that upon the Savior’s resurrection, he visited lands and other people not known to the Biblical Jews, including America, and personally administered to them and again established His Church. Whenever the Lord has established His Church, he has commanded that it be established in His Name, although the term "Latter-day Saints" is added today to distinguish the church established for this day, from those other times when the Lord has established His Church elsewhere on the planet. When the Lord establishes His Church among a people, it includes the establishing of church offices of leadership; for example, even though many of the original twelve apostles still lived and carried on their works among the Jews and Gentiles on another part of the planet, twelve new apostles were called to serve in America. Mormons believe that while many of the apostles passed on or were put to death, there were those who asked the Lord to allow them to continue their works on His behalf, and therefore were given the power to live without tasting death: "And they all spake, save it were three, saying: We desire that after we have lived unto the age of man, that our ministry, wherein thou hast called us, may have an end, that we may speedily come unto thee in thy kingdom. And he said unto them: Blessed are ye because ye desired this thing of me; therefore, after that ye are seventy and two years old ye shall come unto me in my kingdom; and with me ye shall find rest. And when he had spoken unto them, he turned himself unto the three, and said unto them: What will ye that I should do unto you, when I am gone unto the Father? And they sorrowed in their hearts, for they durst not speak unto him the thing which they desired. And he said unto them: Behold, I know your thoughts, and ye have desired the thing which John, my beloved, who was with me in my ministry, before that I was lifted up by the Jews, desired of me. Therefore, more blessed are ye, for ye shall never taste of death; but ye shall live to behold all the doings of the Father unto the children of men, even until all things shall be fulfilled according to the will of the Father, when I shall come in my glory with the powers of heaven. And ye shall never endure the pains of death; but when I shall come in my glory ye shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye from mortality to immortality; and then shall ye be blessed in the kingdom of my Father." (2 Nephi 28: 2-8)

The main purpose of any prophet of the Lord has always been to preach repentance and try to turn the hearts of the children of men to follow their Savior and Lord, not himself, and to show people the way to draw near the Lord by teaching them to follow His word and His teachings only. No true prophet has ever allowed himself to be appointed in the eyes of the people to be employed as "keeper of the gate" to salvation, for this is in direct contradiction to the Lord’s teachings that only the Lord Himself can be the final judge.

O then, my beloved brethren, come unto the Lord, the Holy One. Remember that his paths are righteous. Behold, the way for man is narrow, but it lieth in a straight course before him, and the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel; and he employeth no servant there; and there is none other way save it be by the gate; for he cannot be deceived, for the Lord God is his name. And whoso knocketh, to him will he open; and the wise, and the learned, and they that are rich, who are puffed up because of their learning, and their wisdom, and their riches—yea, they are they whom he despiseth; and save they shall cast these things away, and consider themselves fools before God, and come down in the depths of humility, he will not open unto them.

"But the things of the wise and the prudent shall be hid from them forever—yea, that happiness which is prepared for the saints." (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 9:41 - 43)

Those who would preach such a principle of there only being one prophet or set of prophets to follow are preaching a blasphemous doctrine that is not and never has been of God, for it would mean other prophets walking the earth such as John the Revelator and the three Book of Mormon apostles (whose works are not connected to the works of current LDS Church leaders) would have to submit to the authority of leaders of the LDS Church instead of God Himself. Those teaching that the people should only follow the teachings of the prophets appointed and endorsed by men to church offices have not left any room to receive instruction from true prophets. In fact, the teachings in scriptures like the Doctrine and Covenants teaches that to reject a Lord’s Servant such as John the Revelator is a grievous sin as in Section 121 of the Doctrine and Covenants:

"Cursed are all those that shall lift up the heel against mine anointed, saith the Lord.."(Doctrine and Covenants, 121:16)

The Lord has provided many examples of sharp rebuke for those who have sought to change or alter the meaning of his scriptures. Many changes in LDS scripture have been subtle; in some cases rewritten modern current LDS interpretations of scripture are now being circulated where Book of Mormon scriptures have been condensed and simplified, to guide naive church members to understand only the false interpretations of the teachers they will to follow. In the Doctrine and Covenants, Section 10, it states that it is only evil men who seek to alter the scriptures::

"And for this cause I said that he is a wicked man, for he has sought to take away the things wherewith you have been entrusted; and he has also sought to destroy your gift."(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 10:7)

"And, behold, Satan hath put it into their hearts to alter the words which you have caused to be written, or which you have translated, which have gone out of your hands. And behold, I say unto you, that because they have altered the words, they read contrary from that which you translated and caused to be written; And, on this wise, the devil has sought to lay a cunning plan, that he may destroy this work..." (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 10:10 - 12)

Based on the premise that authority to receive revelation is currently limited to leaders of the LDS Church, those prophets currently walking the earth such as John the Revelator and others such as the three Book of Mormon Apostles would be shut off from receiving revelations and to prophecy and impart the words communicated to them from the Lord without weakly submitting themselves to the whims of the LDS Church leaders instead of the Lord Himself. This teaching would force those who have encountered John the Revelator to reject him, and cause all who hear of his works to reject him as well, for the Mormon religion clearly teaches there are other prophets walking the earth outside of church leadership, and church leaders present no evidence of acknowledging or cooperating with these great servants of the Lord in building the gospel.

Historical precedents have been recorded that when the Lord’s Church was established, it did not preclude the power of Satan to enter among the people to cause widespread apostasy; in fact, there are numerous scriptural prophecies and revelations predicting the current state of apostasy in the LDS Church among members and leaders:

"WOE to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand." (Old Testament | Isaiah 28:1 - 2)

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean. Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.... For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them.... Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies.... For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it" (Old Testament | Isaiah 28:7 - 20) "Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion!" (2 Nephi 28:24)

And So the Cry Continually Goes Forth... "All is Well...." "AND thus we can behold how false, and also the unsteadiness of the hearts of the children of men; yea, we can see that the Lord in his great infinite goodness doth bless and prosper those who put their trust in him. Yea, and we may see at the very time when he doth prosper his people, yea, in the increase of their fields, their flocks and their herds, and in gold, and in silver, and in all manner of precious things of every kind and art; sparing their lives, and delivering them out of the hands of their enemies; softening the hearts of their enemies that they should not declare wars against them; yea, and in fine, doing all things for the welfare and happiness of his people; yea, then is the time that they do harden their hearts, and do forget the Lord their God, and do trample under their feet the Holy One—yea, and this because of their ease, and their exceedingly great prosperity. And thus we see that except the Lord doth chasten his people with many afflictions, yea, except he doth visit them with death and with terror, and with famine and with all manner of pestilence, they will not remember him.

"O how foolish, and how vain, and how evil, and devilish, and how quick to do iniquity, and how slow to do good, are the children of men; yea, how quick to hearken unto the words of the evil one, and to set their hearts upon the vain things of the world! Yea, how quick to be lifted up in pride; yea, how quick to boast, and do all manner of that which is iniquity; and how slow are they to remember the Lord their God, and to give ear unto his counsels, yea, how slow to walk in wisdom's paths! Behold, they do not desire that the Lord their God, who hath created them, should rule and reign over them; notwithstanding his great goodness and his mercy towards them, they do set at naught his counsels, and they will not that he should be their guide.

"O how great is the nothingness of the children of men; yea, even they are less than the dust of the earth." Helaman 12:1-7

It is the design of Satan to bind and subdue the powers of the priesthood through servitude of the priesthood bearers. "For the bed is shorter than a man can stretch himself on it and the covering narrower than he can wrap himself in it." Satan has always sought to infiltrate those people that are righteous and cunningly plant the seeds of wickedness among them: ‘For the doings of the church in these last of the latter days must not be looked at too closely, and those who are ordained to be guardians and watchmen on the towers of the church must be put to sleep. For those ordained to the priesthood must not have time and energy to awake, they must be in servitude to their professions and the sweet teachings of subservience to their children. For all must be lulled to believe they need not worry, and all are deemed worthy that seek not to question, so that there is a spiritual bondage to obtain the word of God.’

Efforts within the church are now underway to purge authentic Mormon history. Those searching for the truths taught by Joseph Smith will now find distortions coming from what are purportedly representing themselves to be leading "apologetic" organizations. Deceptions emanating from anti-Mormon literature are now being incorporated into the works of Mormon authors and becoming more frequently ignored are the inspired writings of men which defended authentic Mormon history. Becoming extinct in the LDS faith today are men and women who can objectively identify the falsities now creeping into Mormon history, which in turn distorts the interpretations of the religion itself.

Recent LDS versions of Church history are rife with revised and altered facets of much of early church history. The deceptions construct an entirely different picture of Mormon history, one that denigrates the religion but which allows current church members to feel content in the perceptions that the church has improved rather than digressed, by replacing old religion with new. There is currently an all out assault on authentic church history now being conducted by historians in the LDS Church with tacit approval of church leaders, who offer silence while official church history is changed and printed falsely. With the completion of the vile revisions of history, Mormons will then be able to claim they are loyal to the principles taught by early church leaders. This cunning work of deception continues in earnest, as Mormon historians race to re-interpret events and teachings of the early church in order to reconcile modern discrepencies and cover up the truth. Much of official church history has been altered since notorious criminal Mark Hofmann influenced church officials and leaders to lead the church astray by following after and investing in his works of forgery.

In this modern day of intellectual slumber, it is the specific works of the righteous that those serving evil seek to destroy; for in their sophistication they have come to realize that the works of Satan are best accomplished through works of stealth and cunning to influence organizations from within, not always through recognizably violent means. Although attacks on the Mormon religion continue to intensify, it is interesting that there is little of intelligent merit offered as a better alternative by those in and out of the church that seek to disprove or taint the Book of Mormon, and those who should be defending the Mormon religion are for the most part silent. The attitude of apathy and indifference seems close to becoming an epidemic in the LDS Church, especially among the young people, who are basically more honest in their feelings than the older members are. As the leadership in the LDS Church continues to stray further away from the principles that Joseph Smith taught, one can expect God to withdraw ever further from the Church as well.

"And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them." (New Testament | John 10:4 - 6)

"But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep." (New Testament | John 10:11 - 15)

INSPIRED REMARKS BY ELDER EZRA TAFT BENSON, General Conference, April 1955.

"I am grateful that we have our free agency which to me is an eternal blessing, an eternal principle. I recognize that today Satan, the adversary, is still alert. He is not using the means of persecution towards this people which he once used, but he is still the enemy of truth, and he is using other methods today. He is probably using the method of encouraging complacency. He is probably making an effort to lull us away into a false security because things seem well in Zion. One of the Book of Mormon prophets said this would be the case in the last days. You remember Nephi's prediction when he said:

‘For behold, at that day shall he rage in the hearts of the children of men, and stir them up to anger against that which is good. And others will he pacify, and lull them away into carnal security, that they will say: All is well in Zion, yea, Zion prospereth, all is well__and thus the devil cheateth their souls, and leadeth them away carefully down to hell. Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion! Wo be unto him that crieth: All is well!’ (Ibid., 28:20_21,24_25.)

"Now, of course, the Church itself is God's great instrument to build and to save and to exalt men everywhere, through the application of the simple principles of the gospel. It is a way of life that will make men happy, and "men are, that they might have joy." This great instrument must withstand opposition and complacency."

More from Ezra Taft Benson, excerpts from General Conference, April 1965

".....Don't worry," says the devil "the Lord will protect you, and besides the world is so corrupt and heading toward destruction at such a pace that you can't stop it, so why try." Well to begin with, the Lord will not protect us unless we do our part. This devilish tactic of persuading people not to get concerned because the Lord will protect them no matter what they do is exposed by the Book of Mormon. Referring to the devil, it says, "And others will he pacify, and lull them away into carnal security, and they will say: All is well in Zion, yea, Zion prospereth, all is well__and thus the devil cheateth their souls, and leadeth them away carefully down to hell." (2 Nephi 28:21.)

"I like that word "carefully." In other words, don't shake them, you might awake them. But the Book of Mormon warns us that when we should see these murderous conspiracies in our midst that we should awake to our awful situation. Now why should we awake if the Lord is going to take care of us anyway? Now let us suppose that it is too late to save freedom. It is still accounted unto us for righteousness' sake to stand up and fight. Some Book of Mormon prophets knew of the final desolate end of their nations, but... they still fought on, and they saved some souls including their own by so doing. For, after all, the purpose of life is to prove ourselves, and the final victory will be for freedom.

"But many of the prophecies referring to America's preservation are conditional. That is, if we do our duty we can be preserved, and if not then we shall be destroyed. This means that a good deal of the responsibility lies with the priesthood of this Church as to what happens to America and as to how much tragedy can be avoided if we do act now.

"And now as to the last neutralizer that the devil uses most effectively__it is simply this: "Don't do anything in the fight for freedom until the Church sets up its own specific program to save the Constitution." This brings us right back to the scripture I opened with today__to those slothful servants who will not do anything until they are "compelled in all things." Maybe the Lord will never set up a specific church program for the purpose of saving the Constitution. Perhaps if he set one up at this time it might split the Church asunder, and perhaps he does not want that to happen yet for not all the wheat and tares are fully ripe.

"The Prophet Joseph Smith declared it will be the elders of Israel who will step forward to help save the Constitution, not the Church. And have we elders been warned? Yes, we have. And have we elders been given the guide lines? Yes indeed, we have. And besides, if the Church should ever inaugurate a program, who do you think would be in the forefront to get it moving? It would not be those who were sitting on the sidelines prior to that time or those who were appeasing the enemy. It would be those choice spirits who, not waiting to be "commanded in all things," used their own free will, the counsel of the prophets and the Spirit of the Lord as guidelines and who entered the battle "in a good cause" and brought to pass much righteousness in freedom's cause." (Remarks taken from address by Ezra Taft Benson)

"According to the laws and constitution of the people, which I have suffered to be established, and should be maintained for the rights and protection of all flesh, according to just and holy principles; That every man may act in doctrine and principle pertaining to futurity, according to the moral agency which I have given unto him, that every man may be accountable for his own sins in the day of judgment. Therefore, it is not right that any man should be in bondage one to another. And for this purpose have I established the Constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom I raised up unto this very purpose, and redeemed the land by the shedding of blood." (Doctrine and Covenants | Section 101:77 - 80)

And so we await that day when no more will the priesthood be in bondage and church teachings in the media no longer craftily but subtly sow the seeds of dissension among families. Satan desires that the priesthood must remain dormant, so men must serve their professions and become indemnified to their little children, for they must be taught their time and efforts as fathers to their families are never enough. And the poor man is trodden under foot, for he cannot meet the demands placed upon him for exhausting demands to earn a living while serving his children. And the women are taught in subtle and crafty ways that their husbands are not worthy of their companionship, for most will fail in the demands of lifestyle placed upon them from the church. "As for my people, children are their oppressors and women rule over them." (Isaiah 3:12) Therefore, the fruits of the church are often divorce and broken families and bitterness, for it is the understanding that the fathers that are not affluent are not worthy. And those men who achieve levels of affluence through cheating the poor are given free rein to exercise what is believed to be their priesthood powers to oppress the downtrodden.

And so we look for the day when no more will the pretended superiority of church standing and priesthood office be used to sanctimoniously judge and condemn those who dare to question. We await a glorious and wondrous day, when the Spirit if God returns to the Lord’s Holy Church and the chains of bondage no longer engulf the minds and lives of the Latter Day Saints. A day when the poor rejoice and their efforts are no longer trampled, and evil men do not seek to cheat them of the fruits of their labors, when the hearts of the saints will once again be turned to their Lord Jesus Christ, instead of men in church offices who lead the people astray. A day when The Church leaders are no longer led astray by criminal minds and hideously evil men in their ranks.

A day when the followers of Satan can no longer infiltrate God’s Holy Church and set themselves up in positions of eminence, to denigrate and revise that which is truth, leading to the confusion which lays the snares, causing Latter-day Saints to choose the pathway of apostasy. We await that day when the toils of the labors of the Saints no longer are squandered on the works of extravagance, and church no longer finances worldly buildings adorned according to the edification of the rich, and the Lord himself is welcomed back into the church so that he may dwell with His people. A day when the afflictions and ailments of the sick and the poor will be healed, and men will dwell in righteousness with the Lord. A day when the spirit of God sweeps through the Saints and those who are not apostles are put out publicly (Ezra 2:62), and those that cause the church to lead the people to follow forgers and stories of mobocrats have their doings and works exposed, and all people will become aware of what they have allowed to transpire in their midst, and none will be without excuse. A day after one mighty servant of the Lord will have performed his work and the masses no longer revile against that which is truth and their hope for salvation. And with a return to Christ, the overwhelming joy of the Lord’s sheep will cause the angels to sing and the saints will once again speak the true name of their Lord and Savior.

"O, my beloved brethren, give ear to my words. Remember the greatness of the Holy One of Israel. Do not say that I have spoken hard things against you; for if ye do, ye will revile against the truth; for I have spoken the words of your Maker. I know that the words of truth are hard against all uncleanness; but the righteous fear them not, for they love the truth and are not shaken." (2Nephi 9:40)

Guidelines For Those Who Seek to Be a True MORMON in These Latter Days:

Seek first the Kingdom of God and all things will be added thereafter.

Be sincere and honorable in all of your dealings.

Gain a testimony that is based on the rock, which is the truth.

Understand that the religion is as unchangeable as the Author of it, who is God himself.

Know that all of the prophets, who truly are prophets are in total harmony with each other throughout all of the ages, and in all of the Holy writ, it is all in total agreement.

Know that when it is said that we live in changing times and that the religion must be reflective of change to accommodate our times that this is an insult to the real religion and those who say this are in apostasy.

Know that true science and true religion are in total accord and that one supports the other.

Know that human life begins at conception and that it is sacred, and a terrible sin to interfere with its conception, or to murder an unborn human being in any stage of prenatal development.

Repent and be numbered with the House of Israel who are the American Indians who through their birthright all of our blessings come.

Know that one cannot trust in the arm of flesh, for man is weak and will always fail without the Lords Power.

Know that one must stand alone if necessary in the defense of ones religion.

Know that a forger such as Mark Hofmann would never have been given the least amount of credence or influence in the Church to have led the General Authorities and the rest of the membership astray if the power of God had been among them.

Know that a symbol such as the evil pentagram has no place in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, that it was never used on any building, until recently.

Be humble and meek and have faith as a little child, and live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Be valiant, be wise, be prudent and do not cast your pearls before swine lest they turn and rend you.

Know that we are less than the dust of the Earth in His Sight, for the dust obeys his commands.

Know that we walk in low paths unnoticed, and that your friends are our friends, and that our friends are your friends.

Know that with the weak things He will thrash the rest of the world.

And knowing that, your testimony of these things is your salvation, and that it is worth more than life itself.

Quote of the Month:

THE WORD OF THE LORD TO AMERICA

"A country that is select and beautiful, a land that I have set my seal upon, will I also rend, saith the Lord, and a little one shall set it upon edge, endwise. Call now your watchman to the tower, and keep a vigil upon the Lord, that you may know that I will do it. And the city in the border, which is the center thereof, will I pluck up, saith the Lord; and I will scatter the workmen of that city, and the banner thereof will I tear in pieces.

"And out of the sea the monsters of the deep shall rise up; and they shall send forth desolations as a flood upon that land. And I will bring clouds of dense darkness, and overcast them with the red glare of war. And they shall hang over that land, and the fear of the Lord shall seize the hearts of that people. For, lo, the red and the black shall be against her; and their gathering hosts will crowd upon the plain; and blood shall wash away the filth and the wickedness of that land.

"For I will shake her center, saith the Lord; and her poles of liberty shall be riven as with the lightning; for her ways are corrupted before me. The path of peace is no longer found in her borders and her statue of justice is broken down. Her honorable men have done it.

"Her judges connive with men of shrewd devices and are full of pandering. Her halls of legislation are corrupted with bribery and the people of that land seek to conceal away the lawless. Everywhere is heard the voice of them that cried, release unto us Barabbas. The statutes of the law, they will not suffer to be enforced; but esteem it worthy to shield the guilty. And the crafty defense of the murderer is rewarded with honor; for the evil technicalities of the law, are turned to the profit and the glory of professional men; while they who shed the blood of innocence go free. Her forces of law and order are become conspirators in crime; and her criminals are fast multiplying in the highways of her notable cities. Thus, the land is filled with violence, and there is no safety.

"Shall such a people govern? Where is the peaceful dwelling place of your fathers? The place of safety, for my little ones, that they may not grow up corrupted? Answer thou me, shall such a people govern? And shall these things continue, till there are none righteous among them that are left to dwell upon the earth, even as it was in the days of Noah? Is it not well that I have numbered your days, to make an end of them? Answer me in this also, saith the Lord.

"And ye boast of liberty. Has not that liberty which your fathers obtained in blood, become a delusion and a sham? Hear now the Lord. You grind the face of the poor; and for the toiler, the producer of all your material wealth, you have no mercy; you would yoke him as a beast of burden. The widow and the orphan, where is your provision for them? Your shrewd men rob them, and you leave them alone to perish. Also the feeble and the aged - show me the providing statute. Only the criminal do you house and feed, and all my little ones must suffer. The strong ones who make the law make it unto themselves, while the helpless perish under their care.

"And will you call this liberty? Aye, and will you celebrate it, forgetful of your oppressions? Behold, is not bondage the name thereof? Do they enjoy liberty whom you grind down, and in your greed, ride upon their necks? Is there any liberty at all when there is not liberty for all? Or, is it liberty, that you possess a franchise of sovereign power to return corrupt men to office, who rule in unrighteousness, and continually crush the weak under foot?

"Hear now the Lord speak. I will drive you from the seat of authority. There shall not a corrupt man be left to rob and to plunder my people, saith the Lord. Yea, and I will break down the strong pillars of your constitution, except you remember the helpless, to set my people free. For the Lord will make bare his strong right arm, and he himself will be their emancipator.

"My statutes, which are the laws of the land when they are righteous, shall be made strong for the right, and for discipline also, saith the Lord. And the pernicious law shall be erased from the statute book; and I will double all your penalties for crime; and the murderer shall answer with his blood; and no man shall escape, saith the Lord.

"Ye know that it is written, that the Lord cannot endure the least degree of iniquity; why then will you nurse it, and mother the lawless as a suckling child, as if you did the world a service? Will you comfort and protect the criminal, that they may leaven my people with the spirit of crime? And will you call it charity and an acceptable service to God?

"Behold, in mine indignation, I will require an eye for an eye; yea, presently will I require both eyes of the wicked of this generation, for it is the hour of my coming, and ye are not able to abide the law of Christ, but rather the law of Moses. And this will I do that darkness may settle down upon the souls of them that violate the innocent, and defy the law of God, and the law of man, until I have stamped them out as fire from beneath thy feet.

"And I will bring strong men and plant them in all the high places of that land, yea, men wondered at, saith the Lord; and they shall not fear. And my statutes and my judgments will they perform; and the land shall be cleansed. Stand by now, ye fair nation, and ye corrupt generation, stand by, and see that I will do it, saith the Lord of Hosts.

"The drone that is ladened with riches, will I cut off. He shall not be left to cumber the earth. For the land shall be a hive, and my people shall swarm as the bees. And I will plant the honeysuckle, and the flowery field, and the land shall increase its yield fourfold, saith the Lord, and it shall flow with milk and with honey, and with a fine vintage; and there shall be enough for all. And I will make labor a pleasure and a joy; and peace shall be established in all the borders of that land.

"And there will I build my tabernacle, saith the Lord of Hosts; and with the multitude of her towers will I light the firmament of heaven; and in splendor will I exalt her domes, to meet the radiant morning of the millennial day. And then will appear the golden age, of which the prophets sang, and which their eyes have longed to see. And the songs of my redeemed will mingle with the prophet's voice; and together will they sing the song of Moses and the Lamb. And then will the Zion of my bosom return, to fill the vacant place; and the New Jerusalem arise, and shake herself from the dust of the earth; and together will they sing the praises of their redeeming Lord, and hosannas to their triumphant King. And the shouts of their joyful hallelujahs will rend the skies, and resound upon the earth, again and yet again; for then will be brought to pass the covenant of the Father, which he made with Enoch, that the earth should rest for a thousand years." (Revelation from the Lord received in 1916 by Harry Edgar Baker)

THE BIRTHRIGHT OF THE AMERICAN INDIAN

Thy first parents came from Israel unto this promised land,

Holy and precious this birthright given to our Savior’s hand.

Earnestly thy ancient fathers prayed for a covenant unto thee,

Heavenly hosts shed tears of joy as thy fathers see.

Observing these last days in prophecy knowing of its fulfillment,

Praying, pouring out their whole soul to obtain this covenant,

Ever praying for their children with many long struggling’s suffered,

Over many generations thy fathers prayed for the promise desired.

Forever God will honor this covenant he made with them,

In tender feelings only a father can know for their children,

Sought for the salvation of these their descendants in solace,

Right thou art to regard thy birthright as beyond all price.

All blessings to this land come through thy holy lineage,

Even though these blessings are sure, still thy enemies rage,

Look to the record of thy fathers in the Book of Mormon.
